Welcome to the IEEE Student Branch of the School of Science and Technology of the International Hellenic University (I.H.U), Greece.

The main goal of the school is to promote excellence in education and in research in the scientific areas of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector and the Energy sector.

The scope of the IEEE I.H.U Student Branch is to support scientific activities, introduce the students to the numerous IEEE benefits and activities of the IEEE and enable collaboration of students with other branches in IEEE Region 8 and worldwide. Seminars, workshops, participation in competitions and field trips are some characteristic examples.

The date of the official acceptance of the formation of the IEEE I.H.U Student Branch was May 17 (2011-05-17) and the date of the notification was June 17 (2011-06-17).
